About Us
The Bergen Bonsai Society (BBS) is an association of individuals dedicated to promoting the artistry, horticultural knowledge, and appreciation of Bonsai (Japanese for tree in a container).
In order for BBS’s mission to be successful we promote and encourage communication and education among its members (and the community at large) by establishing a forum where one can develop the artistic skills and knowledge needed to affect our fundamental love of this ancient art form.
Our members consist of a wide variety of age, backgrounds, and experience (from the very beginner to the advanced artist). At Bergen Bonsai Society everyone is welcome. The diverse membership and activities at Bergen Bonsai Society create opportunities for the exchange of valuable information to help one’s development in the art of bonsai.
Annual Dues: $50 – individual — $65 – family (cash or check)
